Boudoir images are always a favorite gift for a spouse — Valentine’s Day, weddings, birthdays. I love that this lovely woman came in to the studio in part as a gift for her fiance, but also as a gift to herself.
She wanted to be able to capture the healthy body she has worked so hard on and I’m so proud of the images we created together.
I love the outfits she picked out — I love how sweet and classic her look is.
After her session she said:
“Maggie is such an amazing artist to work with! I was completely nervous about the whole thing especially following the directions on how to pose but Maggie really worked with me to bring out who I am. I truly felt as though Maggie took the time to understand me so I found myself at ease and trusting her very quickly. Being comfortable make the shoot even more enjoyable.
“Even though the shoot was for a planned present for my fiance, it ended up being such a great experience for me personally! I learned a lot about taking pictures but also grew a new appreciation for what beauty I have in and out. The most important thing is that the photos really capture who I am even though a boudoir shoot is kind of a far stretch for me. I felt very confident and the pictures are just testament to what a great time it was. None of the pictures came out cheesy or cliche; it doesn’t feel cold or staged either which I love. Its almost an unexpected, simple beauty…it’s truly what she draws out of you and Maggie has such a talent for that.
